Youtube

I've used youtube many times in the past, both for education as well as entertainment purposes. I like how its a free and a shareable program, connection people all over the world. I also like how you can comment on someones video, especially since many people who post videos like to have feedback from their viewers. I also use this site to get a recap on any professional sports games that I might have missed the night before. I choose the video in the link because it was on youtube's home page, and i got a good laugh out of it.

Library Thing

The librarything website is a great tool for anyone who is in to reading. Even though you can't read the books, I see it being used as a literary form of itunes, in that anyone can keep track of their favorite books. What I see as being more useful is the tag cloud that librarything allows us to use on our library's catalog. This application is very useful for our patrons as well as for our own personal use.
